The aim of the college, for the individual student, is to eliminate the need in his life for the college; the task is to help him become a self-educating man.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world ."

What We Do

Our Mission

To send students to college giving them the opportunity to make a difference and to help change the world. By doing that through a higher education. And improving where we stand with the rest of the world in education.

Our Story:

The Our Foundation Story :

Our Foundation was founded from the vision that our son Keenan had brought to us when he was 8 years old. This vision had come from a board game that he had invented. In the process of trying to get the funds we had to make a video. Unrehearsed while making the video Keenan said that if the game was successful that he wanted to use part of the proceeds to set up a foundation to help under privileged kids that were academically qualified to be in college but because of their family finances they were disqualified from going to college. This is how the Foundation got its beginnings.

In early 2019 I started saving up to get me another vehicle. Along with working my regular job I was doing a lot of side jobs. My goal was to have enough to purchase a vehicle by the summer of 2020. Then the Pandemic came and changed everything. I had saved up quite a bit by this time. But instead of buying a vehicle I decided to take this money and put it towards Keenan’s game. I qualified to get the PUA through the stimulus package and qualified for a PPP loan. Once I got the PPP loan along with what I saved up I knew then that I would be able to take the game to the next level.

A Father Remembers His Son

Several months ago I met Kenneth and Romena Lawrence who recently lost their son Keenan due to epilepsy To honor Keenan they created a memorial fund to support other parents raising children with epilepsy This month we are sharing Kenneths tribute to Keenan Keenans story began at age 11 when he started having seizures When he understood he had epilepsy for life he became depressed He once asked me how I would feel being like him calling himself a freak That hurt deeply and I didn’t know how to comfort him That night I prayed for wisdom The next morning I searched Famous People with Epilepsy online and found hundreds of examples I showed them to Keenan and from that moment he was inspired and determined Everything he tried he mastered At age 8 Keenan invented a board game called Dice Cards By age 12 he showed an interest in electronics and fixed a Sega Genesis that had been broken for months His problem solving skills were impressive and I was amazed When Keenan applied to college his doctor initially wrote an unflattering admissions letter We didn’t show it to Keenan and instead asked the doctor to rewrite it highlighting his achievements Keenan was accepted into college and excelled academically eventually attending ITT Technical College where he was on the deans list and tutored others We lost Keenan this past January just months away from earning his Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering To honor his memory we started the Keenan Lawrence Memorial Fund to help parents raising children with epilepsy We ask you to consider supporting this cause in memory of all the children lost too soon

Our Moment

Our Aha Moment:

The Foundation has had many Aha Moments along the Journey
1. The first Aha Moment for us was when God Blessed my wife and I with Keenan.
2. Was when Keenan brought his idea about the game to the Family. The Aha Moment came when Keenan was trying to explain the concept of his game. We were a little confused and I told Keenan to draw it up on something. He came back with a design on the back of a piece of card board showing about half the cards on it. ( We still have that original design that Keenan made when he was 8 years old). We started playing it that way. And one day I told Keenan let’s make a full scale model using all 52 cards. That was a Aha Moment because after we did that we knew we had something special.
3. An Aha Moment came during the Pandemic that’s right. This is a Pandemic Project. Early in the Pandemic I would call friends and family and I was hearing the same thing from everyone. Man I’ll be glad when this Pandemic is over. This was like right when the country had shutdown. I said it’s going to be a while before the country get’s back right. I need to find something to occupy my time. Right then I got an Aha Moment. I said now would be the perfect time to start back on Keenan’s game.

A father’s heart

I just recently had the opportunity to meet Keenan’s father, Kenny. As a father of two children myself, I can’t imagine the heartache Kenny and his wife experienced when they lost Keenan. Establishing this foundation is an amazing way for Kenny and his wife to honor Keenan’s legacy.

A bright light in our community

When I first had the pleasure to meet Mr. Kenny Lawrence, I knew from our conversation that he was willing to take the time to get to know me as an individual. He shared his life, uplifted my spirits, and allowed me to be even more comfortable with myself in society. I\'ve been an amputee since the age of 3 and I\'m 28 now. Its hard to come across that sense of family from a stranger. My condolences goes out to the Lawrence family.

A Loving Legacy That Truly Makes a Difference

This Foundation touched my heart in such a deep and genuine way. Reading about Keenan, his creativity, his kindness, and the dreams he had even at such a young age; made me feel like his spirit is still very much alive through this beautiful mission. It’s clear how much love his family has for him, and how determined they are to honor his life by helping others. What moved me most is how something Keenan imagined as a child has grown into a Foundation that now gives real opportunities to students who deserve a chance. There’s something incredibly special about turning heartbreak into hope for others. It shows strength, compassion, and a true desire to make the world a little better, exactly the kind of legacy anyone would be proud to leave behind. Supporting this Foundation feels meaningful because it’s rooted in love, family, and the belief that every student deserves a fair chance. I’m grateful to have learned Keenan’s story, and even more grateful to see the impact his memory continues to make.

Educate a Child

Despite the United States having the best education system in the world. US students consistently score lower in math and science than students from many other countries. The US ranks 38th in math and 24th in science. As recently as 20 years ago the United States was ranked #1 in high school and college education. 34 states are contributing less funding on a per student basis than they did prior to the recession years. The United States is not investing as much in human capitol as other developed countries.

Having a solid education can truly help our future generations succeed in so many areas. An education can help build upon morals, values, and skills. An education allows students to be well rounded, open minded individuals ready to make a positive change in this world.
